FINDING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE CROWD

Home of Articles

The topic before us today; finding your way through the crowd and not to the crowd. What is a crowd?
Word web defines it in two ways;
1. A large row of things or people considered together
2. An informal body of friends.

From the definition above, a crowd can be a large number of things e.g disappointments, lack, poverty etc or people i.e friends, family, foes and even principalities and powers........ I bet you don't want to hear the last two. What i am trying to say is a crowd is definitely overwhelming or overpowering.
I mean something more than you. It's definitely an unpleasant phase you need to move out from.

How do I find my way through?

Mark 5: 21- 43 (KJV).
To find is to discover. Word web dictionary defines find as ; come upon after searching.
Before a man begins to find his way out of the crowd, then he must have been tired of the crowd i.e tired of his/her condition, health, financial status etc.
No wonder the scriptures said "seek and you will find"- Matthew 7:7.

Below are 5 nuggets you will be discovering as we search our way through the scriptures.

NUGGET 1: DEFINE YOUR PROBLEM AND FIND YOUR WAY.
Verse 22: Jesus was definitely busy with much people gathered, even Jairus was there(one of the rulers of the the synagogue). Just like the saying 'Time waits for no man, so also the crowd.' The crowd will never permit you, you just need find your way.
While they gathered she was defining her issue. "You define to refine".

NUGGET 2: WATCH OUT FOR OPPORTUNITIES, SEIZE THEM.
Verses 23-24 Jairus had a little daughter at the point of death, seeking Jesus lay of his hands on her of which Jesus accepted and was on his way there, the woman with the issue of blood realized this her opportunity and interrupted.
No wonder the scriptures said "watch and pray"- Mark 14:38. Watch!!
Watch out for opportunities in disguise, opportunities not knocking even at your door. Watch out for road signs on your way through the crowd to destiny.

NUGGET 3: MIND NOT THE CROWD; BE FOCUSED.
What business have you got in the crowd or with the crowd? Know why you are there, at that state and condition. Nothing in the crowd will cooperate with you. They all against you. Be focused!

Verse 25:" A certain woman who had an issue of blood 12 years" 12years?? That's a long time.

The crowd must have known her, gossiped about her, mocked her and do all manner of things you can think of. But she knows her issue, she knew where to position herself and follow through.

Remember 'your location determines your allocation'.

Secondly, Verse 26: "she had suffered many things of many physician, shes spent all she had, she grew worse" That's hell on earth! Three in one. What a life!

Definitely her life was all a mess, she should be lost in the crowd by now but NO! She was strong for herself....she was focused.

The Jewish law was against her as she is declared ceremonially uncleaned due to her bleeding issues. (Leviticus 15:25-27), this means that she would not have been permitted for Jewish
religious ceremonies. According to the law, anything/anyone she touched became unclean as well. 'The fact that she was in the crowd trying to reach Jesus means each person who bumped into her would have been unclean as well'.
But all these will not stop her, she's named her issue, not minding the crowd she's finding her way through.

NUGGET 4: BE ATTENTIVE AND POSITIVE!
"To what you hear, you become a heir" the single quote that defines it all.

Verse27:" when she heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched his garment"
(a) She heard first. She's a heir already! A heir to the healing virtue.

(b) She came in the press behind.- Beautiful !! Here is the discovery; behind is the way through the crowd.    Staying behind your issues/ problems means you are at the back and you are pushing the problems over to Jesus. She offered her problems to God. How do you offer yours?

(c) She touched his garment. I remember the quote "Yous see it to seize it".
lets discuss this in the last nugget friend.

NUGGET 5: ACT!
"as you say in my ears, so will i do" - Numbers 14:28. She acted right; " for she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole".

She knew Jesus was around and she did what she said... She touched!
Do you fulfill your own part of Gods business??

Take a minute and do something in the crowd now. Declare the problems are over and touch Him.! He's there with you even as you are reading through.

Your actions bring about the results in your life. Straightway the fountain of her blood dried up and she was healed(verse 29). Shes found her way out of the crowd. Her faith and actions aligned, they made her whole and She's going in peace(verse 34).

Friends I urge you today, don't just faith it...act it and walk your way through the crowd.

YOU HAVE GOD’S LIFE IN YOU

HOME OF ARTICLES  “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11-12 NKJV).   At the point of New Birth, the believers become the partakers of the very life of God—the everlasting life. Jesus said,  “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life .” (John 6:47 NKJV). John the Beloved testifies,  “ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.   He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life . (1 John 5:11-12   NKJV). Everlasting life is not a future promise but a present reality, possession, or inheritance of the New Creation in Christ. The Life Jesus gives those who believe in Him is spiritual, divine, supernatural, heavenly, limitless, timeless, or everlasting. It is not inferior in any respect to the Life...

THE PARABLE OF THE TARES OF THE FIELD (Part 1)

HOME OF ARTICLES  “ The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matthew 13:38 NKJV)   After the Lord Jesus had privately explained the parable of the Sower to His disciples, He put forth another parable about the tares of the field to the great multitude that was gathered to Him by the sea. Matthew 13:24-30 – NKJV  24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  25 “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  26 “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  27 “So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  29 “But he said, ...

KINGDOM LIVING

HOME OF ARTICLES  E niyekpemi Fidelis Oyinpreyebi. KINGDOM LIVING There was a challenge in how the disciples understood the presence of God to be. They had a terrible reverence for that presence. - The presence that killed Aaron’s two sons (Leviticus 10:1-2) - Uzzah died when he grabbed hold of the Ark of the covenant (2 Samuel 6:6-7) - The presence that could kill the High priest if he carnally entered the Holy of Hollies. He had to take many precautions to ensure he was ritually pure and still with a back up priest in case it all goes wrong (Exodus 28:33-35) The presence had strict protocols, living that life was a dangerous one – I believe you will agree with me too. Moses gave them very specific instructions on how to approach the mountain. They could not “come as they were” but had to sanctify themselves.  They had to wear clean clothes and abstain from sexual relations. Once they got to the mountain,  they could not contact(touch anything) or they would die. - They ...
