HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW?

HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW?

Good evening blog readers, how has been your day??

Today I want to discuss the final part of the series we have been discussing- Know more!

If you missed yesterday's edition on what do you know, read here.

How much you know the truth defines your degree of freedom. - Freedom in all ramifications of life; spiritually, financially, mentally, emotionally to mention but a few.

Let me just use this as a spiritual proof of what we have been discussing, do well to read along with me.

In the Garden of Eden, the serpent came up with what Adam and Eve knew but they failed even with how much they knew. They obviously knew the truth but they failed knowing more!!

Here's the dialogue:

Serpent: God said, ye shall not eat the tree of the garden?

Eve: We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden but of the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden; God saith Ye shall nor eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Eve knew the truth so the serpent, but the enemy uses what you know against you and it's left for you to use the known to say No!

..... Lets continue:

Serpent: Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as God knowing good and evil.

What good and evil do they need to know other than  the eat this and don't eat this? The serpent knew more than Eve and he used her lack of information against her. 'My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge-Hosea 4:6a'.

Adam and Eve refused to know more, they never for once ask God some further questions. 'Ask and it shall be given'- Matt 7:7 is not for prayers alone, Informations are included!!

The woman could not argue any further because she's exhausted all she knew!! The next thing was the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise!!

How come??

When you are not fully informed on what you know... Every way seems the way!!

She took the fruit thereof and did eat and gave also unto her husband and he did eat.

After how many days of living in the garden?? After encounters with God every evening??

She just discovered all these false qualities about the tree.

You cannot be empty, it's either you know the truth that makes you free  or  the lies that keep you in bondage.

Dear reader, have you ever thought of what would have happened if Eve had an answer to the serpents' last statement?

How beautiful would it have been for us all if Adam knew enough to query Eve about the fruit?

They were limited by their limitations (in knowledge)

In how many ways/ how much have you limited yourself by your limits, by how much you know?

Our failure to know more makes us become limited by our limits also and Life is much more than(just) living by what you know with your mind.

Lastly, You are known for what you know and remembered for how much you know it!!

Adam and Eve are known for bringing the world into the state in which it is, Jesus Christ is known for bringing salvation into the world.

What will you be known for??

I therefore charge you today that you deeply thirst to know more to make our lives a better one and the world a better place.

YOU HAVE GOD’S LIFE IN YOU

HOME OF ARTICLES  “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11-12 NKJV).   At the point of New Birth, the believers become the partakers of the very life of God—the everlasting life. Jesus said,  “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life .” (John 6:47 NKJV). John the Beloved testifies,  “ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.   He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life . (1 John 5:11-12   NKJV). Everlasting life is not a future promise but a present reality, possession, or inheritance of the New Creation in Christ. The Life Jesus gives those who believe in Him is spiritual, divine, supernatural, heavenly, limitless, timeless, or everlasting. It is not inferior in any respect to the Life...

THE PARABLE OF THE TARES OF THE FIELD (Part 1)

HOME OF ARTICLES  “ The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matthew 13:38 NKJV)   After the Lord Jesus had privately explained the parable of the Sower to His disciples, He put forth another parable about the tares of the field to the great multitude that was gathered to Him by the sea. Matthew 13:24-30 – NKJV  24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  25 “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  26 “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  27 “So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  29 “But he said, ...

KINGDOM LIVING

HOME OF ARTICLES  E niyekpemi Fidelis Oyinpreyebi. KINGDOM LIVING There was a challenge in how the disciples understood the presence of God to be. They had a terrible reverence for that presence. - The presence that killed Aaron’s two sons (Leviticus 10:1-2) - Uzzah died when he grabbed hold of the Ark of the covenant (2 Samuel 6:6-7) - The presence that could kill the High priest if he carnally entered the Holy of Hollies. He had to take many precautions to ensure he was ritually pure and still with a back up priest in case it all goes wrong (Exodus 28:33-35) The presence had strict protocols, living that life was a dangerous one – I believe you will agree with me too. Moses gave them very specific instructions on how to approach the mountain. They could not “come as they were” but had to sanctify themselves.  They had to wear clean clothes and abstain from sexual relations. Once they got to the mountain,  they could not contact(touch anything) or they would die. - They ...
