SWOT SERIES: OPPORTUNITIES.

Good Morning Monday Digest readers,

I really missed you, Situations beyond my control kept me distance away from you.

We have been dwelling on the SWOT series for some weeks back and we have been discussing some topics related to our business and career life.

We discussed Strength and Weaknesses which are Internal factors and  today we'll be returning to our business as we look into the external factors as once explained.

External factors: the opportunities and threats presented by the environment external to you, your business/organization and career.

Opportunities : Word web dictionary defined Opportunity; a possibility due to a favourable combination of circumstances. ( Circumstances are your conditions in life.)

As Individuals especially Christians venturing into business, career or some personality development, we need to change our notion from this particular one: Seeing things from the eyes of the unfavourable.

A lot of individuals do not have results to show for their labours and input because  they see/carry about the belief of 'not-in-my-favour'. You hear a lot of them say the job and even the business they are currently into does not favour them but these very ones believe it favours others.

'Eniyekpemi Fidelis Oyinpreyebi now runs a blog many of my people say, spare me some bucks follows the discussion,

I do ask why should I? Blogging is favourable now they say! Who told you so?'

Only if you will see the favourable conditions; opportunities, they will remain or seem unfavourable.

A lot of younger ones seek advices in careers to venture into, they seek advices in sectors to work, the truth is: No matter the amount of opportunity-bundles a life or business coach is placing your eyes on you'll not see them until you see them! remember; you see it to seize it.

What do you think the scripture was saying: 'and we know that all things work together for good for them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose'- Romans 8:28(KJV)

All things that verse of the scripture is saying but most of us because of ur heart conditions and thinking patterns believe its unfavourable conditions that verse is referring to. NO! His thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace and not of evil Jeremiah 29;11 says.

So permit me on this Spirit-financial analysis state the Scripture this way; 'As we know that all opportunities(favourable conditions) work together for good to those that love God, to those who are called according to his purpose'- Romans 8:28.

Going deeper; Opportunities work for good to:

 (a) Them that love God  (b) The called according to His purpose.

This is inversely saying: Opportunities(favourable Conditions) do not work for;

(a) Those who hate God .

  (b) The ones not working in His purpose i.e His calling for their Lives.

(a) Them that Love God: Remember what we discussed about strength? God is our Strength!

SO opportunities(favourable conditions) work together for for those that love their Strengths!

How often do you maximize your strengths in favourable conditions?

A lot of us focus more on our weaknesses and like I discussed with you that under our weaknesses we do not make use of our Internal Strength(God, our gifts and talents etc.)

but our External Strength(the people our weaknesses attract). No wonder Christians especially now confuse Lack of Opportunities with Connections(the people you know)!

(b) The Called according to His purpose: Are you called according to His purpose? I am not talking about  the calling of an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor of Teacher, I am talking about that business/project/personality and career!

If you will agree with me, there are careers/disciplines/projects/business that you are called into and the proof is this: They do not conflict with Gods main call upon your Life!

A lot of us have failed in discovering this though, remember in a sub-topic Strength I told you; 'You are not made to do anything but everything' I think I'll need to explain this some further; 'You are made to do everything you are made to do!'

You only seem to see Opportunities when you operate in a career/field/business/project that you are called into.

Ensure you are doing what you are called to do because Opportunities work for good to people only in this category.

Till Some other times we'll be meeting again. I pray you a week filled with boundless Opportunities.

YOU HAVE GOD’S LIFE IN YOU

HOME OF ARTICLES  “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11-12 NKJV).   At the point of New Birth, the believers become the partakers of the very life of God—the everlasting life. Jesus said,  “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life .” (John 6:47 NKJV). John the Beloved testifies,  “ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.   He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life . (1 John 5:11-12   NKJV). Everlasting life is not a future promise but a present reality, possession, or inheritance of the New Creation in Christ. The Life Jesus gives those who believe in Him is spiritual, divine, supernatural, heavenly, limitless, timeless, or everlasting. It is not inferior in any respect to the Life...

THE PARABLE OF THE TARES OF THE FIELD (Part 1)

HOME OF ARTICLES  “ The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matthew 13:38 NKJV)   After the Lord Jesus had privately explained the parable of the Sower to His disciples, He put forth another parable about the tares of the field to the great multitude that was gathered to Him by the sea. Matthew 13:24-30 – NKJV  24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  25 “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  26 “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  27 “So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  29 “But he said, ...

KINGDOM LIVING

HOME OF ARTICLES  E niyekpemi Fidelis Oyinpreyebi. KINGDOM LIVING There was a challenge in how the disciples understood the presence of God to be. They had a terrible reverence for that presence. - The presence that killed Aaron’s two sons (Leviticus 10:1-2) - Uzzah died when he grabbed hold of the Ark of the covenant (2 Samuel 6:6-7) - The presence that could kill the High priest if he carnally entered the Holy of Hollies. He had to take many precautions to ensure he was ritually pure and still with a back up priest in case it all goes wrong (Exodus 28:33-35) The presence had strict protocols, living that life was a dangerous one – I believe you will agree with me too. Moses gave them very specific instructions on how to approach the mountain. They could not “come as they were” but had to sanctify themselves.  They had to wear clean clothes and abstain from sexual relations. Once they got to the mountain,  they could not contact(touch anything) or they would die. - They ...
