THE ARTICLES OF OUR FAITH ( PART 2)

      HOME OF ARTICLES

Men with eyes in the spirit, will  discern that we are in the frontiers of the mighty move of God. Many of the demands that God has placed upon our life is to bring us to the place of alignment.

So that fully felty that  which God has ordained to bring to pass his counsels in the last days.

Apostle Peter kill, He said not so long. That is how that mighty man of God fell to enter into the next move of God. He was mighty in the last move, but the next move went by him because he fell to the ground , he fell to the sand. He didn't look like what he expected. He didn't come the way he expected they want . He has raised for himself a standard. If God must move, He has to move like this. Only for him to find out that God cannot be trapped in the ways of man.

Peter kill, He said not so long.  An administration. In fact, in the early church, according to the things that people saw, according to the natural dispensation, there was an issue came up. An issue came up because administration was not put in place.

They  noticed the widows amongst the church were neglected. Have you seen that place? They were neglected in the dairy rations. So, a lot of issues arose up because of that. So, when the men that were there looked at the matter, they said, no, no, we have to properly address this, that is what an administrative issue see what to share is not the issue what is the issue now administration.

see when you begin to understand the context and concept that we are bringing across to you, you will find out that the major problem is not whether what we seek for or what we talk about is available. The issue now is what?

Administration. So that's the challenge. The apostles said let's not give ourselves to this thing. Let's find men of worthy reports, full of wisdom and the Holy Ghost. So that they will administrate over these matters. That is the only way we can solve the challenge of administration. So that nobody will miss out on the rations that is meant for him. Are you with me?

The men that find themselves in a certain conclave, in a certain gathering, that there is a nourishing that they require for them to meet up with the demand of their destiny. What it takes, the riches are available, but the challenge is what? Administration. It so happens that amongst the body, it seems as if something amongst us is benefiting more from what is generally available for everybody than others.

It then means that there is a challenge. they have not been raised as  ministers with the capacity to administrate the things that is of  Christ. The things that’s made available. They are not asked. Let's find amongst us. Because they gather things together. They have what it  needs to survive.

Everything we need in our journey, in our path of spiritual progress. I don’t want to go far, let open to  the book of Romans, Romans chapter 1, is it not verse 17? I need to touch that before I go to this book of Acts chapter 2. So that you will understand the need of administration. And anytime you hear administration, then the next thing you must understand is that there is government. This is an issue that people don't understand.

And whenever you hear government, there is throne. I think I've said this before. So, my emphasis today is not that  throne. That is the problem that people felt. They failed to understand it. People are taught riches without telling them that riches come from an administration. And that administration is because of a government. And that government is because of throne?

So, people can come, for example, one of the riches is forgiveness. There are people that will continue asking for forgiveness every day. Have you not noticed? Every day you see and ask for forgiveness.

That scepter is for government. And the government is to administrate. And administration has target, has purpose. So, part of the reason why you have not found the full expression of the riches of Christ in your being is because you have not understood that thing comes from a government and government seeks to bring you under the administration. There is a purpose God wants to achieve.

Why do we need forgiveness? Why do we need grace? See as I talk to you now, my heart burns. That means a lot of people here need what I'm saying, and there is an impartation.

Let me just show you something. Romans chapter 1. Verse 16 says, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. The power of God. What? It means nobody can be saved except by the gospel. And as we began to analyze, we found out what the gospel is.

It's not just the gospel. The writer here has to be specific. He said what? The gospel of Christ. Because the general meaning of the word gospel is good news.

The good news of Christ. It is so because this  has been in challenge. There has been consistent and concerted attempt to benefit of the things, the bounties that God have. But it is not possible for men.   There are many things that were not possible.

Men try to try to enter it, but it is not possible. But in the gospel, this gospel now is in Christ. Those things have now become possible. That is why it is the gospel of Christ. It is the good news of Christ.

The good news of Christ now is that a man can receive salvation. It is not possible before. I need to know as we have analyzed the import of salvation, the word salvation there is Soteria.

Soteria is a Greek word that emphasized the total deliverance of a man from the impact of the fall. Reaching from your spirit to your soul and even your body. God  plan is not only to save your soul, but to save your spirit.

It is good news because any certain most in fact certain before this good news came in Christ even those people that say that they are for God certain still reaches the sun and begin to touch them and begin to touch them to the point that the scripture told us that when Moses died, Satan came to contend for his.

Those things don't happen in the gospel, because in the gospel, things are established on legal basis. And you must understand that the realm of the spirit is legalistic. What these beings understand is authority.

And authority that is not legal is not authority. So, when they look in the spirit, they begin to find laws that back up what the claims we are making. Is there any law that backs it up? How was that law founded? And then we now saw that Jesus established

This gospel was established on covenant. The covenant was established on his death, resurrection, the blood that he was shed. Are you with me now? So, the things that is powering the bounty that God is making available to you is a law in the Spirit.

So, if God says, I forgive you, Satan can't do anything about it because it is... The things that God did in the Old Testament, Kenneth Erwin. calls this, He does things on a promissory level.

What people benefited in the context of what will be made available yet, if Christ comes and dies in the flesh, because that is the articles of our faith. Are you with me?

The article of our faith is that Christ incarnated though, God incarnated. If you don't believe it, you don't know the articles of our faith.

Of course, the certain religion refused to believe that God didn’t come in the flesh, then died and was resurrected. Certain of them said that there is no resurrection. So, you must understand the articles of our faith, the things that made our faith thick, it is these things that established the pattern that it will take for man to be redeemed.

Are you with me? So, when they now did these things, Jesus did it and make sure it is established on letter basis meaning that anybody that wants to partake in it will not partake in it on arbitrary basis.

If you say I wants to partake in it will not partake in it on arbitrary basis. If you say I want to be born again God cannot say no. our journey in the kingdom is not performance deriving but is faith deriving.

Articles of faith are the summary statements of foundational beliefs held by individuals, churches, or ministries. They set forth the essential truths which guide every area of belief and practice. Sometimes articles of faith are called a doctrinal statement, statement of faith, or statement of belief.

Believers throughout the ages have crafted these statements which have often been memorized in the form of creeds. One of the earliest articles of faith was set forth in Deuteronomy 6:4-7: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

This is known to Jews as the “shema,” and is the foundation of all the commandments of God. It establishes the unity of God, the supremacy of God, and the priority of serving God. The Ten Commandments are another part of those early articles of faith.

An early Christian creed is set out in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. “Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word, I preached to you unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”

This article of faith declares the bare essentials for saving faith in Christ. Statements like this set up a common core around which people can gather and have unity in the faith (1corinthians 1;10

In the early church, the development of creeds and articles of faith was often driven by the rise of false teachers. Simple statements of faith are lacking in detail, and as a result, allow for wide variance in their application. As questionable teachings and practices appeared, the leaders of the churches gathered to search the Scriptures and set forth the true, or orthodox, beliefs of the church.

This process is seen in Acts 15:1-29, when some teachers said that Gentiles had to be circumcised in order to be saved. The apostles and elders in Jerusalem met to discuss the issue, and wrote a letter to inform the churches that keeping the Mosaic Law was not necessary for salvation.

The Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and others were created in response to similar challenges to orthodox beliefs.

Today, most articles of faith are arranged in topical order, listing the primary areas of doctrine with pertinent details below.

Some of the key topics usually included in Christian articles of faith are: Bibliology – Doctrine of the Bible; Theology – Doctrine of God; Anthropology – Doctrine of Man; Hamartiology – Doctrine of Sin; Christology – Doctrine of Christ; Soteriology – Doctrine of Salvation; Pneumatology – Doctrine of the Holy Spirit; Ecclesiology – Doctrine of the Church; Eschatology – Doctrine of Future Things.

Within each of these categories are many sub-categories, and churches vary significantly on their beliefs in each area. Sometimes the articles of faith are written in very simple form, allowing for a wide spectrum of specific beliefs, and other times the articles are very detailed, so as to narrow the scope of accepted beliefs and practices.

Church history has taught us that the more open and general the articles of faith, the more likely that false teaching will appear and gain a foothold. History has also taught us that no matter what the articles of faith say, they are essentially useless unless they are known and followed by churches and individuals.

In the past, it was common for believers to memorize catechisms and creeds, giving them a solid foundation from which to examine new ideas.

Today, the prevailing trend seems to be openness or ignorance regarding doctrine. Most Christians would be hard pressed to express what they believe in any depth, and the result is a patchwork of beliefs which are sometimes contradictory.

The Word of God tells us to “prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). This means to examine things for soundness, in order to know whether to receive or reject them. This is what led to the great creeds and articles of faith in the past, and it is what will help us know what we believe and why we believe it today.

Our mandates is to Preserve the Faith the Apostolic Generation.
