Marriage is the Covenant Union between two mature adults of opposite sexes for the purpose of PROCREATION, PLEASURE and MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP in the pursuit of their GOD GIVEN DESTINY.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿?

1. An Order is a group of people united in a formal way.

2. An order is an organized arrangement of people according to the level of priority or rank.

3. Order is the accurate arrangement of things in its place.

4. Order can simply mean Rank.

5. Lastly Order means Level.

In the Kingdom order for the home, God comes first, then the man and then his wife. Adam was formed first for a reason. That he might be the leader of the home; leading his wife and his children. Adam named the animals in his garden. Adam named his wife as well. This shows that the woman should be under the authority of the man.

Ephesians 5:22-24 NKJV

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

The woman is the third person in rank when it comes to authority in the home. She is called to submit to her husband as unto the Lord. The word submit means to be subordinate, to be submissive or obedient. It means to arrange under. This means that women should learn to defer to their husbands.

Ephesians 5:33 NKJV

Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

The Bible admonishes the wife to reverence her husband. This is why I tell women, “Never marry a man you cannot respect.” Respect is very important in a marriage. Men crave respect just as women desire love. To a man respect is everything. This is why men seek titles, pursue recognition and are willing to chase after awards or even pay for them.

It is for this reason that men work tirelessly to provide for their homes because every sincere man knows that a man that cannot provide for his home lacks self respect. In fact providing for your home is one of the ways to earn the respect of a woman and society at large.

Men drive bigger cars and build big houses because of their craving for respect. This is why it behooves a woman to intentionally and willingly submit to her husband to let meet his craving for respect. She should care for him and honor him like a king in his home. She should affirm him and encourage him perpetually.

1 Timothy 5:14 NKJV

Therefore I desire that the younger widows marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

The woman is called to also help with the children. She is the primary caregiver in the home, though, the husband should also be of help. She is also the primary home keeper. Every home is as neat as its mother. The house, the children and the husband reflect the woman’s values and standards. Your home can speak well of you or bring shame to you. Think about it for a moment.

Titus 2:3-5 NKJV

The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things — that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

Women are also called to be teachers in the home. In fact before the launch of public schools women were responsible for teaching children reading, writing and arithmetic. They used the Bible as the major textbook.

In my own personal experience, my mother is responsible for my love for education. She instilled in me the desire to learn and improve myself. She ensured that I developed good handwriting skills. She made sure I read my books. She made me love reading. Thank you mummy. May God bless you.

Many women do not know that their child’s or children’s academics is their responsibility. They do not know that they should make time to encourage the child in reading, writing and arithmetic. Very few recognize that they are responsible for the child’s upbringing as well especially the child’s manners and character. Think about it.

It is time for women and mothers to take their role in the lives of their husbands and in the lives of their children. Marriage is responsibility. It is entering into a covenant with a member of the opposite sex to add value to their lives as you pursue a God given destiny together. Selah

YOU HAVE GOD’S LIFE IN YOU

HOME OF ARTICLES  “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11-12 NKJV).   At the point of New Birth, the believers become the partakers of the very life of God—the everlasting life. Jesus said,  “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life .” (John 6:47 NKJV). John the Beloved testifies,  “ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.   He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life . (1 John 5:11-12   NKJV). Everlasting life is not a future promise but a present reality, possession, or inheritance of the New Creation in Christ. The Life Jesus gives those who believe in Him is spiritual, divine, supernatural, heavenly, limitless, timeless, or everlasting. It is not inferior in any respect to the Life...

THE PARABLE OF THE TARES OF THE FIELD (Part 1)

HOME OF ARTICLES  “ The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matthew 13:38 NKJV)   After the Lord Jesus had privately explained the parable of the Sower to His disciples, He put forth another parable about the tares of the field to the great multitude that was gathered to Him by the sea. Matthew 13:24-30 – NKJV  24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  25 “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  26 “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.  27 “So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  29 “But he said, ...

KINGDOM LIVING

HOME OF ARTICLES  E niyekpemi Fidelis Oyinpreyebi. KINGDOM LIVING There was a challenge in how the disciples understood the presence of God to be. They had a terrible reverence for that presence. - The presence that killed Aaron’s two sons (Leviticus 10:1-2) - Uzzah died when he grabbed hold of the Ark of the covenant (2 Samuel 6:6-7) - The presence that could kill the High priest if he carnally entered the Holy of Hollies. He had to take many precautions to ensure he was ritually pure and still with a back up priest in case it all goes wrong (Exodus 28:33-35) The presence had strict protocols, living that life was a dangerous one – I believe you will agree with me too. Moses gave them very specific instructions on how to approach the mountain. They could not “come as they were” but had to sanctify themselves.  They had to wear clean clothes and abstain from sexual relations. Once they got to the mountain,  they could not contact(touch anything) or they would die. - They ...
