“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)
Life is not a race without hurdles or challenges. However, the born-again believers are more than conquerors through Christ, who loved them and lived in them by His Spirit.
Paul states, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Rom. 8:37 NKJV).
John also testifies, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 NKJV).
As a believer, you are born again as an overcomer. It is your birthright, heritage, and destiny in Christ to live an overcoming, victorious, triumphant, prosperous, and fulfilling life.
Because of your spiritual union with Christ through the New Birth, the resounding victory of Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection is now your victory.
Because Christ overcame sin, the flesh, the world, Satan, and death, you have overcome them all. Christ overcame them all for you (Rom. 8:37)!
The Lord Jesus assures, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV).
Apostle John testifies, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.” (1 John 5:4 NKJV).
As a New Creation in Christ, you are well-designed, furnished, equipped, prepared, and destined by God for a triumphant life that Christ lived in this fallen world. Therefore, don’t settle for anything less than Christ’s overcoming, victorious, and triumphant life.
The life Christ lived on earth is your standard!
Any life contrary to or below that which Christ lived is unbecoming of you as a Christian or a follower of Christ.
John states, “The man who professes to be continuing in Him is himself also bound to live as He lived.” (1 John 2:6 WNT).
Beloved, you are born again as a victor, a winner, or an overcomer in Christ. Christ’s victory is yours to receive, celebrate, appropriate, and demonstrate to the world.
Therefore, approach and confront every challenge and battle of life with the mindset, attitude, and confidence. Don’t allow your momentary fall or failure to define you or change your identity in Christ.
When you stumble, fall, or fail along with the race of life, arise, and shake yourself from the dust of failure and press forward toward the finishing line.
It is your destiny to overcome and finish well and strong in Christ. God is committed to always giving and leading you into victory and in all situations.
Paul testifies, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Cor. 2:14 NKJV).
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor. 15:57 NKJV).
Friend, don’t ever accept the lie of the devil or any of his agents that God is the one giving or leading you into any temptation, sickness, failure, or defeat in life to teach you some vital lessons in life or to prepare you for a special assignment in life.
God’s Word is how God teaches, instructs, corrects, rebukes, and thoroughly equips His children for His work. Apostle Paul aptly attests to this pivotal truth.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 – NKJV
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Romans 15:4 – NKJV
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, we might have hope through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures.
You can be wise through hearing, reading, studying, imbibing, and meditating on God (Psa. 119:97-100).
God is not the author or source of evil; He is a good God and does not test, tempt, or torment His children with evil.
God always leads His children into triumph, victory, success, and prosperity. God will never lead you into failure, defeat, debt, or poverty. (Jam. 1:13, Psa. 92:15).
When God blesses, He adds no sorrow with it! The Scripture states, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Prov. 10:22 NKJV).
“Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” (Jam. 1:16-17 NKJV).
Prayer:
My Heavenly Father, thank You for Your commitment to always leading me into triumph, victory, and prosperity. Dear Holy Spirit, teach and help me to always embrace and follow God’s leading, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
